Privacy policy.
How we collect, use and protect your personal information, in plain English.
Last updated: 11 June 2026
This policy covers Launch Digital (Pty) Ltd (“Launch Digital”, “we”, “us”) and this website, launchdigital.agency. We work with clients in South Africa and the United Kingdom, so this policy is written to meet both the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) in South Africa and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
The short version: we collect the information you give us through our forms, we use it to respond to you and run our business, we never sell it, and you can ask us at any time what we hold about you.
What we collect
We collect personal information in two ways:
- Information you give us. When you submit our contact or free-audit forms, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, company, website address and your message. If you become a client, we also collect billing details and the information needed to deliver the work.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and
analytics. We store a small cookie (
ld_market) that remembers whether you prefer the South African or United Kingdom version of the site. Analytics tools record anonymous usage data: pages viewed, approximate location, device type, to help us understand how the site is used.
We do not knowingly collect special-category information (such as health, religious or biometric data), and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry or audit request. That’s why the form exists.
- To deliver services to you if you become a client, including billing and account administration.
- To send you marketing relevant to your business, only where permitted, and you can opt out of every message via the unsubscribe link.
- To improve the website and our services using aggregate analytics.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting record-keeping.
Who we share it with
We never sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf: for example, our customer relationship management (CRM) system that stores form submissions, our email provider, and our accounting software. Each provider is bound to protect your information and use it only to provide their service to us.
We may also disclose personal information where the law requires it, for example, in response to a court order, or to protect our legal rights.
Where it’s stored and how long we keep it
Your information is stored in reputable cloud services which may be located outside your country. Where information crosses borders, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer under POPIA and UK GDPR. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires, then we delete it.
Your rights
Under POPIA (South Africa) and UK GDPR (United Kingdom), you have the right to:
- Ask whether we hold personal information about you, and request a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct or delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Opt out of direct marketing at any time.
- Complain to a regulator if you believe we’ve mishandled your information.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@launchdigital.agency. We’ll verify your identity before acting on a request, usually by confirming details we already hold or contacting you through a channel we’ve used before.
If you’re in South Africa, you can complain to the Information Regulator. If you’re in the United Kingdom, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect the information you send us: encrypted connections, access controls, and reputable providers. No internet transmission is ever completely guaranteed, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

This site links to third-party websites we don’t control. Their privacy practices are their own: check their policies before sharing personal information with them.
Changes to this policy
When we make material changes, we’ll post the revised policy here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
