Over a 3-month window, Jukka saw an 875% increase in leads while cost per lead dropped 67%.

The challenge

Jukka is a South African kitchen design and renovation business based in Fourways, Johannesburg. The Google Ads account was bringing in very few leads, and the leads it did bring in were often the wrong fit (people looking for budget cabinet brands like EasyLife). During the baseline period (May to August 2023), the account was generating 4 leads at R1,566 per lead.

What we did

We rebuilt the Google Ads account around Jukka's actual offer of high-end kitchen design and renovation, not budget cabinet sales. We added a strong negative keyword list to block competitor brands and the wrong-fit searches, tightened the conversion tracking and rewrote the ads to match the brand. We then reviewed the search terms weekly and kept refining the negatives so the budget went to the right kind of enquiries.

The results

In the following 3 months, leads increased from 4 to 39 — an 875% improvement. Cost per lead dropped from R1,566 to R511 — a 67% reduction.
