249% more leads, 38% lower cost per lead
Over a 3-month window, Oneplan Health saw a 249% increase in leads while cost per lead dropped 38%.
The challenge
Oneplan Health is the health insurance brand inside the Oneplan group, sitting alongside Oneplan Pet and Oneplan Gap. We manage their Google Ads at scale, running over R1.25 million in monthly spend. During the baseline 3-month period, the account was generating 19,470 leads at R192 per lead.
What we did
We restructured the Google Ads account into focused ad groups inside each campaign so budget could move to the best performing intent. Conversion tracking was rebuilt across the website, landing pages and WhatsApp Chat so the bidding could learn from real leads. We work directly with the Google team on the account and run a weekly meeting with Oneplan to align on budgets, creative and tracking. Each month we plan budgets across Google, Meta and Microsoft so the channels work together rather than fight for the same leads.
The results
In the following 3 months, leads surged from 19,470 to 67,980 — a 249% increase. Cost per lead dropped from R192 to R119 — a 38% reduction.
