Over a 3-month window, Peak Performance Massage saw a 50% increase in leads while cost per lead dropped 82%.
The challenge
Peak Performance Massage is Roald Brits' sports massage studio in South Africa. They specialise in personalised sports massage with online booking through Shopify. They came to us with a small R3,000 a month ad budget and a very tight catchment area. During the baseline period, they were generating 4 leads at R2,210 per lead.
What we did
We built a sports massage landing page focused on what makes Peak Performance different and pointed all the Google Ads traffic at it. We set a tight 5km radius around the studio, focused on high-intent searches like sports massage and deep tissue near me, and added strict negatives to filter out happy ending and spa searches. We also fixed conversion tracking so every Shopify booking was being counted, then trimmed the keyword list each week to push the cost per lead down.
The results
In the following 3 months, leads increased from 4 to 6. Cost per lead dropped from R2,210 to R390 — an 82% reduction.
