Over a 3-month window, Van Der Spuy Creative saw an 867% increase in leads while cost per lead dropped 97%.
The challenge
Van Der Spuy Creative (VDSC) is a Durban-based brand and design agency run by Willie and Robyn Van Der Spuy. They came to Launch after a frustrating run with their previous Google Ads agency. During the baseline period (April–July 2025) the account was generating 3 leads at R4,879 per lead.
What we did
We onboarded VDSC onto our strategy-only Google Ads package and gave them a landing page framework to lift conversion rate on their own site. We rebuilt the campaign structure around the services they actually wanted to sell and rewrote the ad copy to match. From there we ran weekly Marketing Pulse optimisations on bids, search terms and negative keywords to drive lead volume up and cost per lead down.
The results
In the following 3 months, leads increased from 3 to 29 — an 867% improvement. Cost per lead dropped from R4,879 to R167 — a 97% reduction.
