The challenge
Venkam Trading is a South African industrial supplier with a relatively niche product range, which makes Google Ads tricky because search volumes are low and every wrong click hurts. During the baseline period, they were generating 6 leads at R2,847 per lead.
What we did
We rebuilt the Google Ads account around the specific product searches that actually matter to Venkam's buyers, with tight match types and a strong negative keyword list to stop the budget being wasted on broad industrial terms. We rewrote the ads to match what each search was really looking for, and tracked enquiries properly so we could bid for real leads instead of just clicks.
The results
Leads increased from 6 to 47 — a 683% improvement. Cost per lead dropped from R2,847 to R355 — an 88% reduction.
